Just noticed that recently ChatGPT has this new “preview” on the video file being uploaded to it, but it now refuses to actually do anything, simply returning “Hmm…something seems to have gone wrong”. I suspect that it might be due to some bugs of this new preview feature coz last week when there isn’t such thing, everything works pretty much fine…
Update: I’ve already tried clearing the browser cache, and it won’t help.
Hey @EdwardX, a few folks have started noticing this too, especially with the new video upload preview showing up recently. From what we’ve seen so far, this looks tied to a gradual rollout of a feature that hasn’t been officially announced yet, and the “Hmm…something seems to have gone wrong” error seems to be part of the rough edges during rollout.
Right now there’s no confirmed fix/workaround yet beyond retrying or re-uploading smaller clips, but we’re keeping an eye on reports as they come in to see how widespread it is.
