:lady_beetle: Bug Report – Library Count Stuck After Deleting Chats

Platform: ChatGPT Web (browser version)
Browser: (Assumed latest – tu chahe to browser name bhi de sakta hai, e.g. Chrome/Edge/Firefox)
Issue Type: UI – Persistent incorrect library count
Severity: Minor (but confusing to user)

:white_check_mark: Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Upload 6 images during interaction with ChatGPT.
  2. “Library” on left sidebar reflects a count of 6 (as expected).
  3. Delete all chats (which also deletes the images).
  4. Observe that:
  • No visible content remains in Library.
  • However, the count next to “Library” still shows 6.
  1. Tried:
  • Refreshing the browser :counterclockwise_arrows_button:
  • Logging out and logging back in :locked_with_key:
  • Using a different browser tab
  • Still shows incorrect count.

:brain: Expected Result:

Once all related chats/images are deleted, the Library count should reset to 0.

:cross_mark: Actual Result:

The count remains stuck at 6 even after all relevant content is removed.

I had same issue.

Same issue here, hoping a fix comes soon
