Reproduction step:
- Start or have a Deep research chat in the general list of chats within the sidebar, not under any project
- Add the chat to a project
- Click the chat in the project
Notice how the Deep research button flashes briefly, then permanently disappears. Navigating away and back to the chat no longer shows Deep research at all.
