Bug - Conversations Mixing Between Projects in ChatGPT

I’ve encountered a bug in ChatGPT’s Projects feature. When switching between different projects (e.g., Project A and Project B), starting a new conversation in Project A sometimes pulls context or content from conversations in Project B.

This undermines the separation of projects and leads to confusion, especially when managing distinct or sensitive topics.

Please address this issue to ensure that conversations remain isolated within their respective projects.

Thank you!

If you haven’t already done so, could you confirm that the context you believe is “bleeding over” from other projects hasn’t been added to Memory (which I’m assuming is global among all chats & projects)?

Thank you for pointing that out. I’ve checked, and you are correct—it wasn’t a bug with the ChatGPT Projects feature. Instead, the issue was due to Memory, which indeed operates globally across chats and projects. I appreciate your help in clarifying this, and I’ll keep this in mind going forward. Thank you again for your support!
