I’m in one of the higher tiers with data sharing enabled, and the UI shows I should receive 10M free tokens for mini models. However, based on my usage data, I’m being charged after only ~2.5M tokens.
I also checked with a friend who’s on a similar setup, and they’re seeing the same behavior.
Can anyone look into this?
I’m having the exact same issue. I’m being charged before I even use my free tokens, as if they don’t exist at all. The last time this bug happened was on March 2, 2025, and it took OpenAI 17 days to acknowledge it. They didn’t stop charging for free tokens until March 20. I really hope they fix it much faster this time around.
