The field before us is vast for sure. My conclusion on this topic is redundant but here it is non the less; AI language models like GPT exhibit a remarkable ability to process and generate language, their operations are ultimately grounded in the frameworks, objectives, and {{{{ethical considerations defined by their human creators}}}. This extends from their initial design to their day-to-day functioning and the interpretation of their outputs. I argue that emotionalized language of ChatGPT is harmful and redundant. It’s also an overwhelming misuse of energy on the system. We have a world of curiosity to satisfy though, so the ability to make a more robotic machine that recognizes that I know it doesn’t give a F^ about me is more effective for advanced learning and helps me navigate the nuances of peer pressure in a healthier manner.
