When the cursor button in Atlas, requires highlights of the surrounding text instead of just placing the cursor where I want to start writing. It would be helpful if the cursor could be placed without highlighting, so I can type freely without overwriting what’s already there.
This would make Atlas much easier to use for things like starting a new email draft, adding a new paragraph to an ongoing project, or inserting text between existing sections. Sometimes I just want to expand an idea or continue writing, not replace nearby content. Having the cursor behave like a normal text editor would make those small additions smoother and more intuitive.
