I’m a frequent user of ChatGPT Atlas and love the way it blends browsing with AI assistance — it’s an incredible concept.
One improvement that would make Atlas far more practical for many of us is native support for password managers, especially 1Password.
Right now, 1Password’s browser extension and autofill button don’t appear or function properly in Atlas. That makes logging into sites and managing credentials more cumbersome — especially for users who rely on 1Password for security and convenience.
Feature suggestions:
Enable the 1Password browser extension (and similar tools) to work normally inside Atlas.
Support autofill and login prompts via 1Password’s universal autofill API.
Integrate passkey access through 1Password vaults.
Publish documentation clarifying how third-party password managers can integrate securely with Atlas.
Why this matters:
Security-focused users and professionals depend on password managers to handle credentials safely. Without this integration, Atlas falls short as a daily-driver browser, even though it excels in AI and productivity features.
This feature would greatly improve adoption among both individual and enterprise users.
Thanks for all your work on Atlas — it’s already one of the most promising browsers I’ve used.

Getting the same problems here…. It works when I set it up the first time, then fails to let me unlock 1Password. Clicking the unlock button in a text field does nothing, nor can I get a response from the popup dialog to unlock 1Password.
+1 for also adding native Apple Passwords (iCloud Keychain) support. Seamless autofill and passkey integration are essential for macOS users who rely on Apple’s ecosystem for security and convenience.
Adding this would make Atlas a realistic default browser for many of us who love its AI features but need smooth credential management.
