Some devs reported something similar previously. I want to ask if you are using the same thread or not but based on the previous posts, it seem not to matter and the bug can still occur even if different threads.
Yeah, like the title says: Assistant x - file y and assistant a - file b ---- Assistant x retrieves data or copies the content or whatever from file b, and vice versa, Assistant a can access file y. Which obvs. defeats the purpose of not having a common pool of files.
I suspect, somewhat strongly, the problem was caused by myself. But I don’t have a clue how exactly I could have caused this.

I found a bug that one of my assistant in a newly created thread refers files uploaded in other threads. For my app it means, that a user can see files uploaded by other users, so it’s a serious security breach.
I immediately deleted all the files from the assistant in ‘assistants’ section on openAI site. Then i created another assistant with no files and with file retrieval tool enabled, right after I asked it to list available file…
