Hello, I’m a university student and I regularly use ChatGPT to help me write lab reports, as well as some complex and text-heavy documents (don’t worry guys I still write essays on my own). But I think my profs are using some kind of AI detection tools to scan documents now. Are there any free or affordable ways to make my document bypass their AI content detectors?

I find that AI content detectors are terrible; there’s like a 50/50 chance that it will get it right or wrong.
Rewrite it yourself. Take what it gave you as a draft and work off of it, but don’t directly copy the text that it creates.
If you have time, and a little bit of money, you can use GPT’s API to create a program that uses AI to change your paper to make it not sound like it was generated by AI.
Is this allowed? I haven’t been in a university for many years but that was way before good generative AI existed.
