From what I read on your post; Are you experiencing the same new billing like I was describing? It seems that 4o mini is actually discounted again.
I see that you are mostly talking about some strange OpenAI injected prompt stuff. I can’t really tell/confirm/check the billing of 4o vs 4o mini, in terms of I think that 4o mini (judging from the output_tokens) is now cheaper.
