We have a plugin approved and published in the public plugin directory, and we’re looking at what platform-side analytics are available to developers.
We have our own analytics and observability around the MCP.
Is there currently any dashboard, API or export showing metrics such as:
- Total installations to date
- New installations and uninstalls over time
- The number of users who currently have the plugin installed
- Any geographical or platform-level breakdowns
I’ve looked through the plugin pages in the OpenAI Platform but haven’t found anything. If this information is not available through self-service analytics, can OpenAI provide it on request? If so, what is the process and where should the enquiry be directed? Alternatively, is publisher analytics something planned for the future?
I’d also be interested to hear how other developers of published plugins are measuring installation and adoption beyond the activity they can observe through their own MCP servers.
