In all honesty, does it really matter having a monthly theme? The April theme was not really adhered to AFAIK - Actually, I totally forgot about it.
We did better this month than in previous attempts to pin a theme…
I don’t think anyone expects us to only post in the theme, but I have continued to reoccur… (and one poster introduced themselves to us with that vibe, so it’s a good introduction thing too, maybe?
Bir yanım karanlığa alıştı, diğeri hala güneşi bekliyor. Ve ikisi de benim. Wide size, no text.
Men seni her zaman anaram niye
Eşkinden od olub yanaram niye
Saldın üreyime derin yareler
Bu mudur vefası ilk mehebbetin
Men onu sevmiştim bir ilkbaharda
O meni terketdi boranda garda
Her yara sağılır unudulanda
Unudulmaz yarası ilk mehebbetin
Döğdü kapımızı hicranın eli
Değmedi elime cananın eli
Bu derde neylesin lokmanın eli
Değmedi elime cananın eli
Men seni her zaman anaram yar
Eşkinden od olub yanaram yar
Saldın üreyime derin yareler
Bu mudur vefası ilk mehebbetin

In a clean gallery with soft negative space, an imperial luna moth resting on an antique brass astrolabe, rendered in an x-ray botanical porcelain style, translucent porcelain anatomy, radiographic layering through the wings, internal soft luminescence, bone-white and celadon palette, surgical delicacy, floral-meets-medical precision, pristine composition, no text, no watermark.
Monthly theme is more of a direction than a rule, it’s more about securing the thread so it doesn’t drift off topic and also great way for bringing posters together easier while inspiring each other from the same theme, but differently. And also this was more to check out if it working with the monthly themes or if we want to change it to weekly or if don’t have a theme at all, depending on everyone’s take on that.
I have just felt obligated to stick to the theme since I’m the one that suggested it![]()
