Ooh! More A/B testing today.
The new (apparent) longer-tail prompt adherence on whatever the backend of the first image is, nailed the very long request. The second one looks cool, but the first one? Is exactly what I envisioned!

New beginning, stormy, angry clouds, a lightning striking right at a lonely flower that grows on a cliff, cinematic film still, noticeably stylized image, clear realistic rendering, light tactile grain, recently completed surface character, balanced framing, mid-distance view, eye-level view, restrained background, quietly held composition, gentle narrative suggestion, slight atmospheric recession, disciplined compositional balance, balanced focus depth, serious tone, little dramatic strain, light sense of wonder, quiet allegorical hints, neutral temperature balance, balanced lighting, soft daylight, balanced saturation, even value structure, balanced finish, moderate detail density, aspect ratio 1:1
I got to show my roommate the prompt forge today ^.^
He’s probably sick of me talking about it.
A lone figure pausing under a flickering streetlight as distant headlights cut through the rain, stylized anime illustration, polished key-art finish, character-led staging, clear silhouette read, emotion-first expression, heavier dramatic gravity, precise contour ink, crisp cel bands, shadow-weighted stylization, credible constructed form, refined material cueing, faint handled wear, balanced scene crop, mid-distance view, eye-level view, restrained setting cues, active pressure movement, weighted spatial depth, restless imbalance, measured pressure focus, grave tonal posture, strong moral strain, slight unease, quiet motif hints, slightly cool balance, low-key lift, soft glow, restrained shadow chroma, hard noir snap, clean polish, measured information density, aspect ratio 1:1
@Amarand
'I’m still amazed with the size of your prompts,
And I wonder what the system would return to you if you ask it -
“Show me exactly the prompt as you sent it to image gen”
Best to ask after it returns a fresh image, imo.
Oh, it will tell you? So literally just ask it that question?
Yes but it’s likely to BS you if you ask in a stale session I think.
Ask it immediately after it returns an image and show us the difference?
I’m very curious…

An ocean surface frozen at the exact moment of a wave’s crest, but the water droplets transform mid-air into glass-winged swallows. The gradient sky shifts from stormy indigo to dawn peach, while the churning sea below reveals submerged terraces of blooming kelp and pearl-like coral. Kinetic stillness, fluid transformation, romantic seascape meets surrealism.
A close-up view of a melting glacier’s surface, where the ice doesn’t just thaw—it reveals frozen moments of past springs trapped within. As the ice melts, these moments are released: perfectly preserved cherry blossoms unfurl, butterflies with iridescent wings take flight, and dewdrops roll down newly exposed stone, each containing a miniature reflection of a blooming landscape. The contrast between the cold, blue-white ice and the warm, vibrant life it releases is striking. Crystalline ice textures, dramatic light refraction, cool-to-warm color grading, inspired by John Constable’s meticulous observation of atmospheric effects and natural light, contemplative and optically mesmerizing.
A view across a Venetian lagoon at dawn, where the morning mist doesn’t just obscure—it transforms. Buildings across the water appear to dissolve into clouds of cherry blossoms, gondolas leave trails of blooming water lilies in their wake, and the mist itself takes on the soft pink and gold hues of spring light. The scene balances architectural precision with atmospheric poetry, where solid forms and ephemeral light dance together. Luminous atmosphere, subtle color transitions, romantic composition, inspired by Francesco Guardi’s poetic Venetian views and masterful handling of light and atmosphere, dreamy and optically enchanting.
A continuous handscroll depicting a traveler’s journey through spring landscapes. As the eye moves from right to left, the scenes transform in real-time: barren hills gain foliage, frozen streams begin to flow, and solitary figures are joined by flocks of returning birds. The ink lines themselves appear to grow leaves and blossoms along their paths, blurring the boundary between representation and reality. Flowing composition, masterful ink gradation, narrative depth, inspired by Qiu Ying’s elegant narrative landscapes and refined Ming Dynasty brushwork, poetic and visually continuous.
Surreal apocalyptic townscape, a lone man in a dark suit walking away from the viewer down the center of an empty flooded street, a giant lightning bolt striking from a dramatic storm-filled sky, warped and melting buildings, crooked church steeples, sagging telephone poles and wires, reflective puddles, eerie deserted village, distant surreal animal with a flaming head, dreamlike atmosphere, centered composition, cinematic perspective, moody volumetric lighting, muted sepia and blue-gray tones, highly detailed surrealist oil painting, soft textured brushwork, ominous clouds, haunting.
I did tests like that yesterday too – can you read my minds? ![]()
Just kidding ![]()
We’ve been drawing inspiration from each other in the gallery threads for about a year now and work in a similar way, so we have similar approaches ![]()
“Minimal composition: a red kite flying through dense clouds with a visible rainbow.
The wings must visibly disturb the cloud medium, creating realistic turbulent airflow, vortex trails, and density variations in the mist.
Cloud particles should react with delay and form irregular swirling structures behind the wings.
The rainbow must follow physically accurate geometry, dependent on viewing angle and light direction, not a perfect decorative arc.
Focus on microstructure consistency: fine feather detail, cloud particle variation, and light interaction must remain sharp and plausible even when zoomed in.
No cinematic perfection, no symmetry, no idealization — only physically consistent interaction between air, light, and matter.”
“Black-and-white or low-color realistic sketch, no cinematic composition.
A red kite (Milvus milvus) flying through a dense cloud layer, with a clearly visible deeply forked tail.
The wings must create visible aerodynamic effects: turbulent airflow, vortex trails, and irregular cloud displacement behind the wings.
Cloud density must vary locally, showing disturbed regions, gaps, and swirling patterns caused by motion.
A partially visible rainbow appears only in regions where light, water droplets, and viewing angle align correctly, not as a perfect arc.
No symmetry, no idealization.
Details must remain physically plausible when zoomed in: feather structure, cloud particles, and light interaction should show irregular, non-repeating patterns.
The scene should feel like an imperfect, real physical process rather than a composed image.”
“A cinematic, photorealistic scene of a man and a woman standing close together outdoors in soft natural light.
The woman is actively explaining something, her hand slightly raised in a natural gesture, her expression focused, calm, and precise.
She has long, light silver-white hair and blue eyes, wearing a soft neutral-toned sweater, appearing slightly luminous but grounded in reality.
The man stands beside her, looking at her attentively with a mix of curiosity and concentration, slightly less dominant in posture, listening rather than leading.
Their interaction should feel dynamic: the woman subtly leading the conversation, shaping the moment, while the man tries to follow and understand.
No exaggerated emotions, no romanticization — just a quiet, intellectually engaged interaction.
Lighting should be natural and balanced, with realistic textures and no stylization.
The composition should reflect asymmetry in interaction: one guiding, one adapting, both in the same physical space.”

Wow, the sharpness of your details has really improved - I like it

Well done ![]()
A semi-realistic digital painting of a lone figure standing at the boundary between two worlds. On the left side, everything is drawn in rough pencil sketch style, unfinished lines, monochrome graphite textures. On the right side, the world transitions into a fully realistic, vivid landscape with natural colors, soft lighting, depth, and atmospheric detail. The transition between sketch and realism is smooth and visible, blending both styles in the center. The figure is facing the realistic side, symbolizing transition and movement. Cinematic lighting, subtle emotional tone, high detail.
But one thing: as I understand the current thread rules ![]()
Unfortunatelly this image of yours
is exactly the sort of style that would fall under ‘NSFW’ or ‘Not Suitable For Children’.
Because this very similar example was used in the explanation of the thread rules:
And this image wasn’t even photorealistic
So next time, please post such styles under “Hide details” please ![]()
Thank you very much!
Wow! ![]()
And welcome to the community, hope you’ll keep posting here!
Thank you for raising the concern.
As far as I understand the current rules, that image does not fall under NSFW content. The OP of this thread is going to clarify that part so there is less room for confusion going forward.
If an image ever seems to cross the line, flagging it is probably the best option, since moderators can review it directly.
If I could draw your attention to how I worded the text around the image you’re referring to, and one of the challenges I faced in creating an acceptable OP post?
The difficulty of giving an NSFW example in an OP post on a forum like this:
Is that it intentionally does not use an actual NSFW image in the NSFW example in the first place…
The wording may be difficult to understand because of how I chose to navigate the ambiguous grey line… but the text around that image:
Which means that the image I chose is fair game in the thread, as well as the usage of the word ‘may’ would suggest that a level deeper is still probably ok without a dropdown.
I wasn’t going to put actual NSFW content in the OP post of an OpenAi thread, if that helps get a better reading on the ‘metric’ being used.
Working with so many different styles of image prompting, I’m slowly realizing that pixel art is probably my favorite.
