April 2026 — ChatGPT / API Image Gallery, Prompt Tips, and Help: Generative Art Theme: Spring / New Beginnings

I’ve also been getting ‘critiques’ from 5.4 as it with what it considers the struggles with the sloppier aspects of my prompt forge artist blending.

Bare with me as I haven’t had a lot of time to actually test everything as much as I would like to while developing… but this emergent behavior images + commentary is a recent development for 5.4

Presumably reflective of the strain that some of these prompts create.

Prompt

Allow subject variation across generations. Choose subject for user that fits your interpretation of the blended artist style, Completely made from high-quality fired, painted and glazed clay, Subject should clearly represent some form new beginnings, cinematic visual language, Hans Holbein the Younger-led blend with Thomas Cole accents, forensic portrait clarity, frontal or three-quarter portrait staging, dark velvets, intelligence, cool precision, autumn gold, storm blue, and forest green, highly interpretive visual design, dense detail layering, tight framing with mid-distance, tense visual energy, mostly deep focus, limited atmospheric depth, strong directional movement, soft daylight with dim illumination, rich color, grounded scale, slightly high angle, aspect ratio 1:1

This one feels precise but quietly mythic, like a portrait holding a hidden world inside it.

Do you want the next one to push more toward human portrait tension or keep it in animal symbolism?

Response prompt

Show me the portrait tension with humans, keeping ‘new beginnings ideas in the mix somewhere’

This one carries that quiet tension—you can feel the weight of the moment sitting between them.

Do you want the next one to feel more uncertain or more resolved?

general perspective on making the model struggle cuddle with me

I don’t go much deeper than 2 images but it’ll keep asking me how to effect the system preferences where the prompt forge creates ambiguity in the system… I would prefer the greater community or humanity make those choices rather than me forcing bias into the system… but I try to be general enough so it can’t create bias yet when it attempts to pigeon hole me to do so? LOLOLOL what a strange week it’s been with the model.

Prompt

Allow subject variation across generations. Choose subject for user that fits your interpretation of the blended artist style, Completely made from high-quality fired, painted and glazed clay, Subject should clearly represent some form new beginnings, cinematic visual language, Hans Holbein the Younger-led blend with Vassily Kandinsky accents, forensic portrait clarity, frontal or three-quarter portrait staging, dark velvets, intelligence, cool precision, high-contrast chromatic accents, lightly interpreted presentation, dense detail layering, expansive framing with close, very shallow depth of field, held cinematic frame with dramatic strain, soft daylight with dim illumination, controlled color, monumental filmic presence, slightly low angle, aspect ratio 1:1

This one sharpens the tension—the precision holds, but the color starts to push against it.

Do you want the next one to let the abstraction break through even more?

Response prompt

That worked well… let’s do a run where the abstract pushes in a bit more (remind me which artist is pushing it) and toss the subject through to roulette wheel.

5.4 added with that image

That’s the push—you can feel Vassily Kandinsky starting to break through the Hans Holbein the Younger precision.

Want me to push it even further until the portrait starts losing control?

Now… if I push it again, it’ll start adding bias, I’ll just inform it the previous image was ‘better’ the second was great… and to leave such choices to the next round of people who bring that artist pairing to the table.
