I’ve had issues with my messages to ChatGPT disappearing since last month, but at this point, entire chunks of the conversation are missing (only what I send, though). It looks like the GPT yammers on forever when really, 4-5 of my messages in a row are gone and not searchable. The conversation looks fine in my OG tab, but if I close out of it or re-open the chat in a new window/tab, a lot of my messages will disappear. This is happening across browsers (Safari, Chrome), even with my adblockers off on Mac Sequoia.

Do your messages disappear in longer chats, too? I have a marathon training plan chat and a separate meal prep that are both on the long end and that’s where I see issues (haven’t had a short chat yet to test it). Do you have issues across browsers as well?
Hmm. I tried the new chat. Indeed, so far the messages haven’t disappeared. Apparently, the problem is indeed in the long chat. I haven’t checked in other browsers but the same problem in the mobile app
It’s curious cuz this problem was never observed in long chats before

Yeah mine’s followed me into new chats, too. I tried using the Mac app for a bit and that works, but the search is pretty bad and you can’t quote text. I went off the app earlier this week and the online version was doing fine, but today, my long chat messages began disappearing again. Sorry to hear you’re still having issues. I messaged OpenAI about it as well.
