I can’t find the exact ToS about VPNs, but I imagine they aren’t allowed (OpenAI was actively blocking VPN traffic the other day, which made it easier for me to comply with terms of service in my mobile. Here on PC, I have the advantage of being able of installing a browser extension for split tunnelling the entire domain). Is this enough, though? I want to sign up to GPT-4, but I don’t want to get banned for opaque reasons.
VPN use from a supported country is not a violation of the ToS. Split tunnelling is a great way to ensure that your OpenAI site and API calls remain unaffected by any of Cloudflare’s protection mechanisms.
