Currently, in a shared workspace, only the creator of a Custom GPT has the ability to manage or modify its configurations. While this ensures privacy and control for the creator, it poses challenges in collaborative environments where workspace owners or administrators may need to oversee or adjust these settings to maintain alignment with organizational policies or ensure continuity.
Feature Request:
I propose introducing a feature that allows workspace owners or administrators to:
View and edit the configurations of Custom GPTs created by members within their workspace.
Use Case:
In scenarios where a team member leaves the organization or is unavailable, the ability for workspace owners to adjust the Custom GPT’s settings ensures uninterrupted workflow. Additionally, it enables better management and governance of AI tools within the organization.
Suggested Implementation:
- Include a permission toggle for the creator to grant or deny modification rights to workspace owners.
- Provide clear logs of changes made to the GPT by any user for transparency.
This functionality would enhance collaborative use of Custom GPTs while maintaining appropriate oversight.
