They made an announcement about a bug that let others chat prompt titles appear in others chat prompt history today.
‘Just the titles’ they say.
I guess having it just happened today they are still going through ‘hiccups’.

I have reloaded it so many times. I have also logged out and logged back in many times. My history is still unavailable. My project is due in a day and I had most of the work there. I have no idea what I should be doing. When will this bug be resolved? It’s been days!!!

It’s so silly tbh. All of my convo histories are gone, and even when I chat with the AI in a new chat, it just goes away whenever I close the browser or refresh the page. Infuriating. I hope it is fixed soon.

There has been a hack, which is why we are having our histories off. Give them more time

How many days do you think it will take before my conversations return, I had them this morning all in one massive long chat file but now that is gone because I had to go to school.
Yeah, I am kind of wondering when the history will be back, even new conversations I make aren’t listed. This chatbot has been helping out my Nephew who has some learning disabilities, and he’s had smiles on his face when chatting with the bot and writing his book. He’s like 11 and its been fantastic for him. His typing speed increased, and some of the ideas he’s been putting in on his own for the bot to help flesh out… outstanding. Please fix it guys.

lost quite a bit of work. Thought the system was reliable. Am a plus customer also. Seems like there is no information as to when it will be back or if we will get our old conversations back.

I’m so glad so many of us also care about this. Every time there’s a network connectivity based glitch the current conversation is lost as well. I’m working with a rather long premise for a video series on unique ways to play No Man’s Sky, and it’s a lot of context that is difficult to repeat and I keep forgetting to copy it all before refreshing the page.
My chat history has also vanished. No new chats are being saved.

I have Plus - I haven’t had history for 72 hours (it came back after the big outage, then went away again)

My history have all disappeared. Searching on the web, apparently there was a bug, which has cause ChatGpt to show other people’s history instead of your own ones, that is why it was shutdown. Apparently they still trying to restore the past history on ChatGpt.
If I were a + customer, I’d be pretty upset right now… As it is, all context is lost whenever it decides it wants to crash, for lack of a better word. And I think it’s safe to say, current work is not being saved in any way, shape, or form. We’ve got an AI language model (I know that because it tells me about 1,024 times a day) that would appear to be magic to most… but it can’t do basic DB operations at scale that thousands of web apps do flawlessly daily. Go figure.
EDIT: holy crap… literally WHILE typing this post, my history re-appeared. Not kidding… And my assumption that work while history was missing would be lost was (thankfully) wrong. Only now I have about 50 chats to delete LOL. Could be worse, for sure!
Lots of people saying history has returned… not me, still unable to load history… support?

Seems like half of the people got their history back already, and other half still having “unable to load history” issue. (Mostly + users as well)

I’m a ChatGPT Plus subscriber, and my history still hasn’t returned. I spent a LOT of time yesterday working on a solution for my main project, but even with the browser window open, the chat was gone today. History still doesn’t load (network log says: detail: “Something went wrong.” Not very helpful…). This is extremely frustrating as a paying customer, especially since they wrongly mark the incident as resolved, with all systems operational.
ChatGPT systems are NOT operational yet, even for paying customers. Core functionality (chat retention) is NOT operational.
