All my GPT-5.6 windows reverted to 5.5 Thinking for 3 days (Plus user)

Hi team,

I’ve been experiencing a persistent model routing issue for 3 days already.

• I’m a Plus subscriber.

• I successfully used GPT-5.6 (Sol) for several days with a noticeably more bold and direct personality.

• Since 3 days ago, every new and old 5.6 window now identifies itself as GPT-5.5 Thinking.

• The knowledge cutoff also shows August or December 2025, instead of February 2026.

• I have tried web, mobile app, different devices, incognito mode, clearing cache, and logging out/in — the entire account is affected.

• Restarting the app and devices didn’t help.

This looks like an account-level fallback or A/B test issue. Similar routing problems happened during the 5.5 rollout as well.
