All chats aren't searchable in ChatGPT apps

The current MacOS and iOS ChatGPT apps support searching the list of previous chats – but I found that all chats couldn’t be found immediately.

In order to be able to search older chats beyond some point (i.e. older chats in the total volume of chats), I had to scroll down through the entire chat list, presumably to “download” the chats locally (producing the spinning wheel icon). Before the older chats were downloaded, they could not be found via Search.

Yet, I’m not sure I’m able to reach the very bottom of the chats list – I see only a spinning wheel, but no further results after a point.

Scrolling through the chats list has to be done on each MacOS & iOS device running the app, in order to acquire chats locally.

Here’s a sure bug / problem: on each MacOS & iOS device running the app, at the “effective bottom” of its particular chat list (continually a spinning wheel; no older chats can be shown), there will be a different “oldest chat” than on the other devices. Apparently how many chats you get to download is “variable” for some reason. It is therefore unlikely that I’ve been able to download all of my chats even on the device on which I could scroll the furthest.
