I know there are plugin templates that already exist, but I needed one in my style so I could pump them out more quickly. You can find the template here.
AIPluginTemplate: A plugin template for OpenAI’s ChatGPT and other AI chat applications.
It is in python and has an extensive readme. The readme was created using ChatGPT with human (me) in the loop guidance. I’ve read the whole thing and edited quite a bit but I have not run the calculator.py code yet to verify that example works. But, ChatGPT did it based on my pattern and the logic looks correct, so, I think it probably works.
Let me know if you notice anything wrong or hinky. I’ll be using this template next weekend/midweek for a project I am working on, so the readme and possibly the code might change a little bit.
