I’m getting pretty frustrated with ChatGPT Teams again. It’s so slow and much worse at coding than Claude, to the point I find myself avoiding it as much as possible because I know it will get my request wrong.
The problem is performance, sure, also these:
- o3 mini regularly fails to put code in a code block
- There was recently a REGRESSION in the web app that stopped you from being able to copy and paste code while it’s generating
- As soon as that was fixed, the copy code button stopped being in a fixed position so you have to scroll up and down just to find the copy button. It’s still broken as of this post.
These aren’t just performance issues, but reliability and consistency failings that Claude has never had. OpenAI, please add regression testing to your web app for these basic quality of life features.
It’s too bad because I think advanced voice and web search is useful. But I can get those on the free plan.
