Feature Request: Affordable Annual Student Plan for ChatGPT

I would like to suggest introducing a dedicated, affordable annual subscription plan for students.

For many students, especially in developing countries like Bangladesh, the current Plus price of $20 per month is quite expensive. A student plan costing around $15–25 per year (or an equivalent local price) would make ChatGPT much more accessible to students.

Students could use this plan mainly for:

  • Studying and exam preparation
  • PDF and document analysis
  • Learning English and other subjects
  • Mathematics and problem solving
  • Creating notes, summaries and MCQs
  • Research and academic work

I believe an affordable annual Student Plan would allow millions of students in developing countries to use ChatGPT consistently throughout their education.

For example, a plan around ৳1,500–৳2,500 per year in Bangladesh could make a huge difference.

I hope OpenAI will consider introducing regional student pricing or an affordable annual Student Plan in the future.

Thank you for considering this suggestion.
