Advanced voice mode quickly becomes unresponsive

So last night I tried AVM for the first time, and it’s nothing short of pure magic.

BUT, I’m already having issues. After a few minutes of testing it, it became unresponsive, and the blue and white orb turned straight white. I force closed, cleared the cache, and tried to start another chat, but the white circle persisted and it remained unresponsive.

About an hour later I tried again and it eventually “woke up”, but after another few minutes of chatting, the white circle returned and again it became completely unresponsive.

Is anyone else having this issue? I realize the servers are likely overloaded with millions of users trying this, but as a premium user, I at least expect to be able to use AVM for more than a few minutes without it becoming unresponsive!

I’m on a Pixel 8 pro, not rooted, latest version of Android and latest beta version of chatGPT.

Maybe I should revert to non beta?

Thanks for the reply! Yes that’s a good idea, if it keeps happening I will do a screen recording so I can at least send it to them for review. For me, simply exiting and going back didn’t resolve it…the white circle just hung suspended there and it was completely unresponsive.

I’m going to test it more today, and hopefully that doesn’t happen anymore.

Do you know if there is one general support email for openAI?
