Hello OpenAI Team, I’m reaching out to report a frustrating issue I’ve been experiencing with ChatGPT’s advanced voice mode on Firefox. Despite my efforts to troubleshoot, I haven’t been able to get it working properly. Whenever I attempt to use the advanced voice mode on ChatGPT Web while using Firefox, it simply doesn’t work. I’ve checked my microphone permissions, cleared cache and cookies, and made sure that my Firefox browser is up-to-date, but the issue persists. Normally, the ‘sending message’ button should turn into the ‘Advanced Voice Mode’ button, but in Firefox, it does not. However, when I use Chrome, it works as expected—the ‘Advanced Voice Mode’ button appears and replaces the ‘sending message’ button. I suspect the issue might be related to Firefox’s AAC audio compatibility. It’s known that Mozilla has not paid for the AAC format patent, which could potentially explain the absence of the ‘Advanced Voice Mode’ button. This issue is quite annoying, as I prefer using Firefox as my main browser. It’s frustrating to have to switch to Chrome or Edge just to use a feature that’s supposed to work across browsers. Has anyone else encountered this issue? Are there any workarounds or fixes that worked for you? I’d appreciate any insights or advice from the community or the OpenAI support team. Yes I find it frustrating too, that voice mode is not working in Firefox. I had to install chromium, only for voice mode. I don’t know why it is not working, but [google’s aistudio](https://aistudio.google.com/live) allows you to use voice, video and screen sharing even in Firefox. ---

Its not working for me either.
