Adding Italian VAT Id format not accepted

Hi there,

I’m not able to add our italian VAT-ID to the billing form on platform.openai.com.

It always throws an error with:

“**Your tax ID appears to be in the wrong format. Please try again using the format ‘IT12345678912’, or contact us through our help center at help.openai.com if you need assistance”
**
Our VAT-ID has the format “IT0XXXXXXXXXXX”.
Maybe the leading zero throws the evaluator of.

Since this is related to billing/VAT-ID validation and the error message itself suggests contacting the Help Center, so that’s what I’d recommend you to do.

Unfortunately this forum can’t fix billing/VAT-ID issues from here. Support/the right OpenAI team would need to look into it.
