When using Codex across multiple threads, side chats can become difficult to keep track of. I may have several side chats running or waiting for attention in different parent threads, but there is no easy way to see all of them in one place.
It would be helpful to have a global view or indicator showing side chats that are:
- currently active or running
- waiting for user input
- completed but unread
This view should work across all Codex threads, and selecting a side chat should take me directly to the relevant conversation and parent thread.
My main use case is running multiple Codex tasks in parallel. A centralized view would make it easier to see what still needs attention without having to remember which thread each side chat belongs to.
