Subject: Feature Request – Chat Memory Backup Code
Dear OpenAI Team,
I have an idea that could improve the ChatGPT experience. Right now, if a user loses access to their account, they also lose all saved memory. It would be helpful if ChatGPT could generate a backup code (e.g., “0186-92572-027”) that users can save. Later, if they create a new account or log in on a different device, they could enter this code to restore their past memory.
This feature would help users continue their conversations without losing important context. I believe many users would benefit from a way to transfer their chat memory securely.
