Account-specific Deep Research failure: 0 searches / 0 citations for months — Case #15420179

I’m a ChatGPT Plus user with a persistent Deep Research failure documented since June 2026.

Deep Research repeatedly completes with 0 searches / 0 citations across unrelated topics, browsers, devices, and networks.

The strongest control test: on the same physical computer and same browser, another paid Plus account completed Deep Research normally with approximately 500 searches and 19 citations, while my affected account continued to return 0/0.

OpenAI Support already has the relevant diagnostics, including a sanitized HAR, video reproduction, screenshots, timestamps, cross-topic tests, and conversation URLs.

The issue has remained unresolved for approximately three months despite extensive troubleshooting and multiple support interactions.

@OpenAI_Support — could you please review Case #15420179 internally and confirm whether it has reached the appropriate product/engineering owner?

I am intentionally not posting private account, billing, HAR, or personal data publicly.

Could you please help ensure that this case has actually reached the appropriate product/engineering owner, rather than another general troubleshooting loop?
