These following VPNs has been banned:
Cyberghost, Hotspot Shield, Wireguard, V2rays, ShadowSocks(SS), Pure, Atlas, VPN Unlimited, OpenVPN.
Please note that these VPN providers may not available in some nations.

I opened a ticket with cloudflare who claims it’s open ai that has made the “decision” to block it’s own customers. I don’t get it

I use VPN to access it but have same problem and the IP location is Singapore…

I get the same “Access denied” error, except I’m NOT even using a VPN. I’m on regular, unobfuscated 4G Internet (and I do not have any other means to access the Internet). What the heck, OpenAI? More like “ClosedAI”. I was going to buy the subscription, but it is my understanding that I would still not be able to use the service, since I can’t even log in.

I can access the site in my phone with VPN, but can not access in computer use chrome or edge with VPN

i have a solution to this if you can afford 237671448530 on whAsapp
change your vpn location. I’m in Edmonton but mine was set to Seattle for some reason, I changed it to Vancouver and it started working instantly

I had the same problem. Now I resolved, my solution it was this:
- browsing anonymously main site of openai
- click on “product”
- click on “gpt chat”
- click on “try chat gpt”
- make a new login
In my opinion the true problem is in some part our login’s information are remained stored
I had same problem; on Mac through VPN no way, same “access denied” message… on iPhone with VPN works properly.
In my case depends of specific servers in certain countries. I suggest you not connect randomly to the chosen country, but open chosen country and see the individual servers.
My VPN shows me green, orange and red servers. In my case the colors indicate the load of the server and the consequent speed of the connection.
Maybe that slowest servers (orange in my case) doesn’t allow connection to ChatGPT, the green allow it.
Just check your VPN servers and try to change manually if your VPN doesn’t show the servers with colored indications, and choose the most free and performing one😉

Hi, this doesn’t works for me, I tried one of the overloaded servers (slowest) on my VPN.
Maybe meanwhile that you was trying this, the connection went simply more efficient
(see my other reply on this page)

same same.i use the vpn ,its says access denied,hotspot shield ,sometimes its goes to playground but no chat
I have same problem,here is my way.
first set your vpn to global model
then try to use US/UK or your openai’s register ip
refresh the page

I used a VPN to appear in USA to subscribe to chat gpt plus and then turned it off again when logging in to circumvent this problem.
