Feature Request: Customizable ChatGPT Quick-Action Widget for Android
Hello OpenAI Team,
I’d like to suggest adding a customizable ChatGPT home-screen widget for Android.
The widget could provide quick actions such as:
Chat — Start a new conversation instantly.
Camera — Quickly capture or upload an image for analysis.
Voice — Start a voice conversation immediately.
It would be even better if users could choose which actions appear, rearrange them, and resize the widget.
This would make ChatGPT much faster and more convenient for spontaneous tasks, while also making it feel more like an always-available AI assistant. It could significantly improve the Android experience and bring ChatGPT closer to the convenience offered by competing AI assistants.
I’ve attached an example screenshot showing the type of widget I have in mind.
