I see that I can edit messages that I have sent, but if in the original message, I clicked on the “Search” tool, but now I want to go back and see how the model would have responded without having access to search, I do not see a way to remove the ability for the model to search in that edit.
As a ChatGPT user, I want the same features available to me in my editing UI, as I had when I first sent the message on the main screen, so that I can “rewrite” the conversation by changing whether ChatGPT should use search in its response, or create an image, etc. This will allow me to more efficiently direct the conversation to where I want it to go, rather than just reprompting the model, and have it retain its previous answer that I don’t want it to take into account anymore.
