The “Canvas” and the tools it offers are great and incredibly useful, but having it as the tool is way more efficient than having it as a model to select because no other models support “Canvas” for now and most of the time when I want to switch between the models in a single chat and if the canvas is given in the response I’m unable to select any other model that I want to.
I would like to request OpenAI to switch “GPT-4o-canvas” aka “Canvas” to a tool rather than a model.
