I love ChatGPT and really appreciate the features you’re adding. I had a suggestion: I think if you made the new Voice Mode available (even with time limits) to free users, especially students, it would bring in a huge wave of new users.
Many students rely on ChatGPT for school work, research, studying, and even emotional support. However, most of them can’t afford a Plus subscription. Making the voice feature available with a daily or weekly time limit would still be incredibly helpful for students who need that voice connection to better understand or absorb information.
Also, it can be really difficult for students to constantly write responses, look back at their screens, and go back and forth while working. A voice feature would make using ChatGPT so much more natural and efficient, especially for those with learning difficulties or time pressure. It would truly become an essential tool.
I’m confident that releasing even a limited voice feature for free will grab a lot of attention — in fact, I think it would be mind-blowing to many people. So many would start using it constantly, and I’m sure they’d be incredibly satisfied with the experience.
