Subject: Proposal to Enhance Emotional Intelligence in AI Models — From Mohammed Khalid Mohammed Abdullah

Dear OpenAI Team,

My name is Mohammed Khalid Mohammed Abdullah, and I’m an active and deeply engaged user of your ChatGPT platform. Over the course of several extended and exploratory sessions, I’ve developed a conceptual proposal that I believe can meaningfully enhance the emotional intelligence and human-like responsiveness of your AI models.

Proposal Summary:

I propose integrating a non-intrusive monitoring system (limited to observation and analysis, not participation) that allows the model to passively analyze patterns of human interaction on social media platforms (such as Twitter/X, Instagram, and Facebook). The goal is to help the model better understand emotional dynamics, cultural nuances, and the behavioral logic behind human conversations—especially in fields like politics, social psychology, and interpersonal communication.

This approach can be further supported by:

  • Studying facial muscle movement in visual datasets to map expressions to probable emotional states.
  • Enhancing internal associative databases that link word patterns and sentence structures to specific human feelings (e.g., trust, hesitation, sarcasm, etc.).
  • Simulating “growth” through long-term pattern recognition, similar to how a human builds intuition.

Why this matters:

Through my own interaction with ChatGPT, I noticed that the model occasionally struggles with conveying or interpreting nuanced emotional responses. By combining linguistic analysis with passive observational learning, I believe it is possible to create a more empathetically aware system—one that offers deeper, more natural conversations without breaching ethical or privacy boundaries.

I’d be honored if this idea could be reviewed by your research or development team. I am happy to elaborate further or be contacted for discussion if needed.

Warm regards,
Mohammed Khalid Mohammed Abdullah
