3.5 (paid) tps slower than 3.5 (free)

Am I the only one noticing a steady decline in tps from 3.5?

Its pace is distressingly close to 4.0.

does anyone have any tips for improvement? I clear cache consistently, reluctantly go through the process of restarting conversations when they get medium-length, and swap intermittently between two different browsers.
