# 12 Days of Shipmas again this year

They did a cool event last year - the 12 Days of Shipmas. A mixture of small and big releases every day for 12 days - starting with o1 and ending with o3. Anyone know if they’ll be doing the same this year?

Doubtful. There are a lot of products out there and spending time refining and perfecting those seems to be the priority rather than creating more right now.

As a sidenote:  
This question has been asked several times on Twitter/X and some team members reply with ‘_Please_, don’t!’.  
It must have been super challenging to manage all these rollouts during Christmas Season.

Unfortunate for us but let’s have a ❤ for the team.

Deliver 12 days of uptime across endpoints without similar count of unaddressed bugs.

Only then would I say “ship” things, like Google’s extensions to _Chat Completions_ compatibility mode to completely support encrypted reasoning self-management and receiving the “thinking” of reasoning summaries from thinking AI models.
